Bricco Barone is located in the hills around Monforte D'Alba.
Destemmed and crushed before fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Fermented in steel tanks and left on the skins before being transferred to oak barrel for few months ageing before being transferred back to steel and then bottling. Aged in bottle for a few months before release.
Not quite opaque but dark deeper red.
A complex of summer berry fruits with violet floral notes, black pepper and oak.
Full-bodied, structured with intense lasting fruit and spice flavours.
