There are often noted similarities between the pinot noir and gamay grape variety. In the Beaujolais village of Moulin-Á-Vent the comparison becomes even more harder to distinguish. Guillaume de Castelnau, the winemaker at the famous Chateau des Jacques, gives us an insight as to how to distinguish between the aristocratic pinot noir and the cheerful and friendly gamay.
