Meet Marcel Moreno from Moreno Wines giving us a sweet Spanish wine tip that pairs well with dark chocolate.
I tasted this with Marcel at the 'Wines from Spain' fair a couple of weeks ago and can confirm that it is really delicious with nice weight, fruit, complexity and huge "one more glass syndrome" appeal!
If you get a chance to try this then be sure to get a nice bar of dark chocolate. The only other trustworthy chocolate pairing I have to mind is Madeira. We'll be looking out for some next week at the London Wine Fair and may bring a bar of the dark stuff with me for experimentation purposes!

Last week a picture was posted on Twitter of vines in Shabo, a large estate that lies to the west of Odesa on southern Ukraine’s Black Sea coastline. The image seemed benign at face value but the reality, of course, is that the city of Odesa has been bracing itself for attack by Russian forces.

Soave: volcanic wines with elegance and longevity
Sitting inside the ancient castle walls inside the town of Soave, a short drive from Verona in northern Italy, the unique slightly almond aroma of the indigenous grape, Garganega, rises gently from my glass.
